Catch up with Richert

There is more text to come below. I just haven't got the hang of combining these in the right order yet. The first pic is a reduction of a flyer for Tuesdays with Morrie at the Victoria Theatre in Dayton OH. You can see the inside and outside of the theatre and my co-start. If you look hard in the second pic you can see me fielding a cross to ward of Count Dracula. That was in St Louis and Cincinnati this past year. The 2nd and third pics are 2 separate characters from the same play, Agatha Christi's Witness For The Prosecution. It was great fun knowing that the audience didn't know the 2 characters were being played by the same person unless they looked at their program. Next to last is King Herod in JC Superstar. Shortly after I did this I found I had high cholesterol, went on a diet, reduced my cholesterol to normal without having to take anything and reduced my waist line to a 34 from a 38. The last pic was the first I posted and not in the order I would have done things, but I'm still figuring this out. Go below the pics for a little more Catch up. I've been at this so long now, I'm not going to proof it I'm just going to publish and hope for the best. If there are spelling and punctuation problems...please forgive me.

Hi folks. First attempt at this so I'll see how it goes. This is what I call my Big Daddy pic. You remember Big Daddy from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof right. Bear with me if not everything I put in shows up. Right now I'm marking time til the summer. Starting the middle of May I'll be at Totem Pole Playhouse outside of Gettysburg PA. It's one of 2 theatres in Central PA where I have spent many wonderful summers as an actor and sometimes director. Unfortunately one of those theatres has now gone non-union so I can no longer work there, and my dear friends who run Totem Pole are retiring this year so this will be their last season running the theatre. They've been the artistic directors there for almost 30 years. So if any of you all are in the Gettysburg area this summer .....at least until the near end of July look me up. You can check out the Playhouse by going to http://www.totempoleplayhouse.org/ where you can see the up coming season and the location etc.

Hard to believe that this coming January I'm comtemplating taking my Union pension, but like the idea of a steadier income after all these years. I have a great apartment in Manhattan.....that I don't have to pay too much for but NYC has gotten incredibly expensive. Doubt I can ever afford to "retire" in the strictest sense of the word, but getting a little old to look for part time jobs. Too bad we don't have Wal-Mart in Manhattan. I could be a greeter.

I have been quite busy last year and the year before. This living comes in spurts, you know. It's always been kind of feast or famine. I'll post a few pics now if this works of some of the more recent things. //// Well it isn't in quite the order I wanted but it's the first time. I'll do more another time. Looking forward to hearing more from all of you.
Love
Richert
