You both look so sweet and innocent. Was this in the first grade? I think you were voted "Most Popular". I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying all of this. Keep 'em coming. LOL
So "sweet and innocent" OH MY GOD!!! It sure has taken a lot to get from there to here. Found Lynn. Went by her mother's house. That was really an ordeal to get her to come to the door. Finally had to go to my cell and call her. Isn't it strange how when your mother is old, you have so much more patience with an older person. I was able to hold her hand and cry with her and tell her when school was out I was going to take her and mother to the City Cafe to eat one day. Renee, I'm not really that nice!!! Or maybe I've mellowed. I haven't been able to find the toothless picture of Jeff and me. But I will. When I'm on a misson, my OCD takes over big time. It seems that we've just about come full circle. Toothless to toothless!!!!HA HA. B
Bonnie, I remember that adorable picture and there is one of Jeff somewhere smiling...no front teeth. Could be in an old year book. So did you get Lynn's contact information from Mrs. Veda Pearl? Do y'all remember my Grandma Hart. She lived with us for over 10 years, was in a wheel chair, and did not communicate the last years of her life. She died in the late 60's at 96 y/o. Having her live with us taught me how important our families are. There were no assisted living facilities then. Old folks went in a nursing home or else. This was a challenge for Mama...with an infant baby (Ronald) and two active teenagers...However, mother always said how much she loved our teenage years. There was never a dull moment in our household. We have C.B.'s mother in The Sunrise Assisted Living in Baton Rouge and she loves it. We are on our way to visit her now. Will write more later.
Ella Joy-I e-mailed Marg. Called Lynn...She doesn't have an e-mail, but said husband was going to set her up. She has had health issues. Was excited to hear from us. Said she would e-mail me when she gets address and then I'll forward to M. Take care. B
