Change of Plans for Richert
Greetings all. I know it's a long time off, but thought I'd put this out now in case any of you are traveling near me this fall. I have bowed out of my directing assignment this fall to take a better job acting-wise. Starting Aug 5 I will be in Cincinnati for beginning rehearsals of Emma, a new musical based on the Jane Austin novel. The show will open at Cincinnati Playhouse In the Park on Sept 2 and play there until Oct 3. It will then move to St Louis and take up residence at Repertory Theatre of St Louis opening on October 8 and closing Nov 2. I leave this Sunday to begin rehearsals for my summer gig in PA. Both the above mentioned theatres have websites if you are curious to know more about where I am etc. Just google the theatre's names and check them out. Since Emma opens both theatres' new season, I don't know if play info will be there just yet, but if it isn't it should be up sometime by the middle of summer. So if any of you are headed my way during the fall give me a heads up. I'll be posting in blog when I have some time over the summer. In the meantime I'm looking forward to taking a break from The Big Apple and enjoying some country air in rural PA. at Totem Pole Playhouse. More later y'all.

I am so proud of you and all of your accomplishments. I would love to see one of your performances. In the meantime, it is possible that I may be in NYC the weekend before Thanksgiving. I am trying to figure out how to go with a group of teachers and still manage to see Andy who lives in Cornwall. He and Sarah have a rather difficult time traveling as my nine year-old nephew is autistic and curbs their activities considerably. Anyway, I am working on it. One of the girls going is Nona Gail, Lynn's cousin. I would love to see the city through your eyes. If I can ever get school behind me, I'll try to share more of what's going on with me. Richert, If possible I'll try to get to St. Louis to see your play. I'll put it on my calendar. I'm going to try to watch your episode of Law and Order CI tonight.
Rosemary---Elloise and I are going to be in NYC the weekend before Thanksgiving. Actually, I'm taking that Thursday and Friday off and we'll leave The Thursday before Thanksgiving. Come home Tuesday or Wednesday. Let me know when you know what your plans are. For two years we have been wanting to go to Ireland in the summer, but life gets in the way. I still think that Americans are not really safe overseas. Elloise says that "You can't worry about those kind of things". She doesn't. I do. I read somewhere that you have more of a chance of being eaten by a shark than winning the Louisiana Lottery. Everytime we flew over the Atlantic Ocean, I kept thinking about that shark. Anyway, July is the time to go and we can't work it in---we both have too much in July. Maybe next year---if both of us are alive.
Richert, I taped L&O. Will watch tonight after DWTS. My husband is such an idiot. He watched it and told me he couldn't find you, then we got hysterical, because he doesn't know you---never met you...etc. What an idiot!!!!
