Greetings from PA

Hi All. Since I've been away for a bit I wanted to post a quick catch-up. I was delighted to discover that we have wireless internet here at our residence in Caledonia State Park, so it looks like I'll be able to keep up a bit with the comings and goings of all of you. Rather than comment on the individual posts because it's been a while I'm doing it all here. We are in rehearsals for Sherlock Holmes The Final Problem, and eventually I'll post some pictures of the area and hopefully the play down the line. As soon as we open one week from today we go right into rehearsals for a political comedy called Lying In State in which I have a huge amount of lines to learn so I might disappear again for a bit until that one gets up. About the previous posts:
Renee I'm thrilled you saw my Law and Order. I was pretty pleased with it although it was hectic to shoot. My scene was the last of the day and everyone was very anxious to go home. I felt tremendous pressure to get everything right the first time as it was late in the evening and the leads had been working all day. Everyone was very nice, but there was no fooling around. Luckily I aced it without any retakes and they were so glad they could go home they applauded. It was extemely rewarding and I'm still getting residual checks from it so of course I'd like to do another one. Film and tv work in NYC is very difficult to get. Sometimes it's a closed community. Hard to describe. And PS while it's true that the tv camera does seem to add about 10 pounds, it was the summer following that filming that I found out I had high cholesterol and went on a diet to try to get it down. I went from a 38 inch waist to a 34 and have pretty much managed to keep that off.

I love the class picture. I haven't seen that in years of course. We certainly had an attractive bunch of ladies and gentlemen.

I think the slumber party looks great. What fun you all must have. And it's nice to see all of you in one group.

Thanks for Rocky's info. If anyone turns up an email address please let me know.

I look forward to hearing about your summers and when possible I'll post some pics from mine.

Richert, great to hear from you again. I also saw the Law & Order episode and you were great in it. It looked so natural for you.
Hope all goes well in your upcoming plays.

Richert,
I was wondering about you receiving
residuals from the L&O episode. That's good!
About 1971 or '72, I did a commercial for Beech Nut Breath Mints. Got paid $75.00. That was a lot of money for
me at the time. And it was fun and
exciting.
I had friends in Florida that told
me they were getting tired of seeing me on TV (smile)...they said
it ran a lot there. It never played in the New Orleans region so I never did see it.

Our "slumber party" get-away was a lot of fun. Margaret will soon be sending pictures... get ready!
