Catching up with the gang.
Richert, our trip north is firming up and we will be in Gettysburg, PA on June 17. I checked out the Totem Pole Playhouse and its looks like that is opening night for “Lying in State”. Will you have a part in that one? I’m not sure where we will be staying but we would love to get together with you for dinner or something that works around your schedule. I’ll send you and email so we can exchange cell phone numbers. You also inquired about Rocky Saxon so I have to tell you this and please relay this to Rocky. I think is was two years ago that Johnny sent me a Christmas CD that Rocky had made and told me you have to play this and tell me what you think. Well it was fantastic and is still Mary Anne’s favorite Christmas album. I not sure how you get a copy but I recommend it to everyone I see. Has anyone else on the list heard it?.
Hilda, Good to hear that your back is better. Your now in one of my favorite parts of the US. I think I told you earlier that I worked for a electronics company in Beaverton and lived in Washington state in one of my earlier lives and if your getting clear days you can also see one of my favorite climbing places, Mount Hood. I once climb Mount Hood with my youngest daughter Caroline who was twelve at the time and she has many fond memories of that trip.
Renee, Great looking photos of Miami… Are you back home now? And no I still not flying, the FAA like a lot of government agencies is very slow and I still have to pass a number of stress test related things before they will reissue my medical. How often do you get to Kentwood?
It looks like the Slumber Party gang has returned with minimal injuries. Margaret it does look like it would be a less dangerous fall in your group photo than when I hung you over the railing at KHS.
Betty, Good to see you in the photos and that you have not changed a bit from the days at KHS. Say hello to Fran for me.
Ella Joy, What is Market Days in Kentwood? Also, how can I buy Jimmy Schwartz’s CD’s and poems about Kentwood that I heard so much about.
I have really enjoyed all the photos so please keep um coming.

Jeff, Good to hear from you. Our slumber party trip was great fun. We returned home on Thursday evening and
on Saturday I went to Kentwood to meet the gang & have lunch at the Country Club in Fernwood.
Market Day in Kentwood is held the last Sat. of the month and vendors or anyone can set up a table to sell crafts or most anything...
it's a big "garage sale" with old and
new things. There usually is a band or singing group performing.
Jeff, you are right, the country is just beautiful out here! And compared to Georgia the weather is wonderful. It is 1:45 pm and the temperature is 53 degrees. My niece, a friend of hers, & I just went for a short walk and it felt so good outside. Unfortunately I still have to be careful because of my back so we didn't chance going very far. Certainly not up Mt. Hood as you and your daughter did. When we lived in Scappoose some adults would take the youth to Spirit Lake on Mt. St Helen for a backpacking trip. Mike, my son absolutely loved it and revisits the mountain every time he comes out here. Chat with you later.
