Margaret I got your album of the slumber party and your pictures are great. It looks like you had a wonderful time. I hope one day I'll be able to join all of you.
I'm having so much fun trying to use my digital camera. Don't have a clue what I'm doing. I guess I need to read the instructions. The night we went to the Rusty Pelican I took 77 pictures. Had to toss most of them.
Jeff, the house remodeling is going much slower than I would like. I can't find anything! But I know it will be worth it when it's finished. I'm hoping I'll soon have time to scan in some of the pictures from our annuals. When is your grand baby due? Tell Richert hello for me.
Renee---the pics were great. I know what you mean about the digital camera. This class I took last week had one whole day on digital camera in the classroom. I do OK until they say menu and then I get a little nuts. I had my digital camera taken away last year at school because I didn't follow the rules. So I showed them...I bought my own. Had it in my book bag and stepped on my book bag and bent the telephoto lens...so that has been a major problem. Finally got it fixed...One year later and about $1000 later...now I'm ready...but the day long class almost did me in. I'm not going to let this defeat me. Sometimes in the middle of the night when my OCD really gets a hold on me, I get up and work with that @#$#@# camera. But, your pictures were really good. I, like Jeff, love the one with you taking a picture of you taking a picture. While Eloise and I were in Vegas, I stuck my head in a big box and took a picture and didn't know that mirrors were on the other side. So, I got a picture of me taking a picture. What can I say?
Renee, Of course I remember Ponchatoula Beach. I went with you all the time. I remember one time I got so cooked, your mom was very upset with us. She hated to take me home because I was so burned. Do you happen to have any pictures of us?
Your pictures are great. I can see the rainbow between the buildings. CB gave me a camera for Christmas which I'm still learning how to use.
I don't know if my mother has any pictures of us. I know I had some, but when the house burned I lost all the pictures because I didn't take them with me when I left.
I do remember getting cooked at Ponchatula beach. And you were always so fair. Also remember all the days we went to "the river" and to Terry's creek. Jeff, was it you that got attacked by leaches at Terry's creek.
EJ, I do have most of the annuals Let me know what you don't have and I'll try to scan in some of the pictures. Thought I would start with the earliest. But, first I have to finish this house if I'm still sane.
Renee, It was Jeff that got the leaches all over him. I remember that happening.
Also, now remember you telling me about losing the pictures in the fire. The two annuals that I have are our 1st grade and our senior year. I have nothing in between.
