Hi, Gang! As if I have nothing else to do this morning, I made a few changes to the way our blog looks. I took away the long list of Blog Archives and condensed it by months. This way, if you want to go back and view past posts, just click on the month and you have it!
One of my daughters, Traci, and her family have moved in with us while waiting for their house to sell in Wimberley. They are both teachers and will be teaching in Katy, Texas, about 15 minutes away from where we live. They start orientation, etc. next week. It's fun having little ones in the house again!

Margaret,
Does everyone know that you can do a search on the blog? On my computer it is on the top left. For example if you wanted to read about Jeff's adventure in Africa, just put "Africa" in the search and it will pull up every blog with Africa in it. If you want to hear about some of our driving adventures, put driving.
LOL
Renee
No, Renee, I didn't know that either. I put in EJ's name and it brought up her postings plus others with her in it. NEAT!!!
Thanks Margaret. This is really neat. I have taken a good many technology courses this summer. I have really enjoyed them and have learned a lot, but with the course always comes the work that you owe after. I think I've finally posted my last "owe". Lesson plans for three days, powerpoint, science ex., science demo, teacher made activity, treasure hunt, etc., etc., etc. I never have trouble with the work...The attachments drive me crazy. I am always going back to check if they really were sent. My OCD starts to work in overdrive!!! I'll be glad to get back to school!! LOL B
Bonnie, I love power point presentations. They are fascinating to me. I plan to take a course in it as soon as possible. I've been told it's easy.
Marg. thanks for the change, but as you know it is all a challenge for me.
Margaret--It is the easiest thing in the world. I love ppt. Which Microsoft Office do you have? The 2007 is wonderful. I still love my 2002/03. I have Office XP ---not too much difference, but a little. As I said the 07 all Microsoft has a completely different look. It's not hard--just finding what is familiar to you. But, it does have so many more functions that the older models. The best thing to do is to get Get ppt for dummies 2002 by Doug Lowe. Work through it. I never was real receptive to any technology at school, and I knew it was coming...so one summer when I had some down time, I bought the book at Office Depot. Worked through it and amazed myself. It's fun!!!
