Ike will not miss Louisiana. Some of the coastal parishes that were hit by Gustav are now getting
lots of water from Ike. There is street flooding.....because the tides were still high from Gustav.
They are estimating the tides to be 6 - 8 ft. above normal. We will get tropical storm winds tomorrow and Sat.
Margaret, I hope Ike does not leave too much damage. Hope you guys are prepared for power outages. But maybe you have a better electrical service company than we do. Entergy is the
power company in most of Louisiana. My prayers will be with you.
