Hey everybody,
Just wanted to let y'all know that I talked to Margaret theis morning and they do not have electricity, but they are still using Paris's generator.. Since she had generator lights, having water means more to her now.. Paris and DeAnn went to check on their house yesterday and it looks like it may be okay... Their fence was down, but that can be fixed... Margaret is at home .... The surgery unit where she works has a lot of water damage to it and may be a week or more before it is back to normal, but she said to tell everybody they are fine...
Our daughter, Jill finally got through to us on her cell phone... They live in Spring, Texas and they have no lights and the water pressure is going down, so they may be coming over this way for a few days... I sure hope they do come. The kids will not have school until Thursday..... Other than all this bad news, don't know anything else..... Just really wanted to let you know about Margaret..... We do know what they are going through, and believe me... it is no fun !!!!
Will chat later...

Bettye, thanks for the info on Magaret and I am thankful they are o.k. And good to know Jill and her family are fine, maybe you will get to have a few days with them. we for sure know what they are going through. We are still moving trees and etc. from the yard. Kenny hurt his back on Sat. cutting a tree in pieces, but it seems to be getting better. One day we will have it all up. Yesterday some men from Mobile came and finished cutting the trees in pieces, What a blessing!
Have a great day and one day we will get together. Love ya.
Janice,
Do hope Kenny's back will be ok. CB has a tendency to over-do when he does outdoor jobs...i.e. cutting down trees. We only had four after Gustav...After Katrina it was 14 huge
trees in about 3 acres. We didn't get the stumps grind until over a year later. I never have taken a look at 17 acres. It's mostly woods and I was told we had quick a lot of trees down.
