I have been keeping up with your posts but as you know have been negligent in contributing. EJ I did add a comment to your post about Grandparents Day at Oak Forest, don't know if you saw it or not. Dad is doing very well, thanks for asking. He is in the rehab/nursing home in Greensburg right now but I'm not sure how much longer he will be there. I think they are talking about letting him go home but I'm not certain about that. I don't see how his wife is going to be able to take care of him but it is her decision to make.
Margaret, you asked about Thanksgiving...I am not going to know how to act this year. My daughter has invited us all to her house and I am so looking forward to it! Then the day after we "girls" all go shopping. I know people think we have lost our minds but we have a blast. It has kinda become a tradition for us over the past few years. We just go to have fun and enjoy each others company and if we luck up with some good buys that just makes it better. We don't get stressed out if we don't though. What about you, what are your plans?
By the way, someone asked about Connie Inkenbrandt at one time. I owe you an apology for being so certain that she had not died. I found out on my last trip to Kentwood that she actually did. Jim thought it was her that he had seen but is was a half sister or someone that had lived with her parents, I can't remember her name. Also asked Kathleen about her and she said that she had died.
Not a whole lot going on right now but if anything exciting happens I will let you know. I am getting a little tired of being on the go so much and even though I love retirement I'm thinking about going back to work for a while. That is if I am fortunate enough to get a job somewhere with the job situation being like it is.
Everyone take care and as it has been said before, let's make the blog active again. I miss getting news from everyone.

Hilda,
So good to hear from you. That's certainly good news about your Dad.
I did not see your post under the Grandparent's Day...thanks for letting me know. I do know Jim's wife. They lived in back of my grandmother's old house.
I thought she was a Wilson.. How are they related to you? I will ask Kaden about Beau. They have two first grade classes.
It seems to me Connie Inkenbrandt died years ago. Did I hear that she had committed suicide? Does anyone know?
EJ, I meant Jim Carter, my brother. Jim & Sharon Slaven are Beau's other grandparents and yes Sharon was a Wilson. Theresa, my brother Jim's daughter, is married to their son, Jimbo. Gets confusing doesn't it with both of them being named Jim. Jimbo, Teresa, Hunter (their oldest son), and Beau live across the street from Jimbo and Sharon.
