EJ, I saw CB on both segments and he did really well. However, most people like Bobby Jindal and he comes across like a really intelligent person. Who knows what his future holds, but I do hope he will do good for Louisiana.
We all hope that he does well.... Bobby Jindal that is! Yes, he is very popular. He is very articulate and intelligent. Go to CB's website and you can get a better insight into what Bobby is doing and not doing. C.B. puts out information which is backed up with facts. He does lots of research.
Sorry I missed the appearance and I missed Mr. Obamas speech too. However, the media up this way and a few of the conservative talking heads are giving Mr Jindal pretty poor marks for his speech and for especially invoking Katrina. Sounds like he has a bit to learn if he is going to become a playa.
Richert, He has quiet a bit to learn. Newt and Rush have chosen him as the person to save the Republican party. He has been hammered by the press and even Fox did not give him a good review for his speech. He got a 73% disapproval from one poll. Even some of his big supporters here are very disappointed with his performance as governor. Anyway, it was so bad that he picked up and left town...took his family to Disney World. Usually when someone makes an historic TV appearance, they stick around and answer questions.
BTW...someone sent us information that C.B. is listed in Wikipedia. I'm not sure who wrote it but they did a lot of research. The thing that amazed us was how accurate it was. Go to Wikipedia Encyclopedia and put in C.B. Forgotston....
