I just read on the Prayer Link that Jon Carl Hammons sister died, Billie Jo. She was 76, I believe. I remember her because she was my brother Fernie Ray's age and they even dated.
I have vague memories of Billi Joe as a child. I remember her as being very very pretty with blonde curly hair, but that's about all I remember. I don't think I really knew her.
I went to the funeral...Ruth and her husband, Eddie, were there. Quite a few of Jon's friends were there... Margaret has already fussed at me for not taking my camera so I could put some pictures on the blog.

Mrs. Catherine Kuss went to Billy JoAnne's funeral... She said Ruth Ellen Thompson was there and she looked so good...
