Amanda

Amanda called tonight. She had received the "directory" and pictures I sent her. She said she could identify everyone! She laughed at Johnny and said, "I can't believe how big he is!" Johnny used to pick on Amanda all the time in school. She could beat him up, though, if she wanted! (ha)

Sandra, she said you came to visit her. That was nice. Also, she has recently seen Ann Rimes. Amanda appreciated the "love offering" from our class. Now that she has everyone's phone number, don't be surprised if you, too, receive a call from her.

She is in treatment for her lung cancer and her voice was a little hoarse. She also says she isn't feeling very well. Apparently she's in a motorized wheelchair/scooter and has been for the last 16 years after surgery on her legs.

We talked about basketball and Mrs. Singleton. Amanda said everyone was afraid to play her because she would knock them down if she had to....and she did many times! Gosh, she was one good player for us, wasn't she??? EJ, I bet you and Hilda was glad she didn't play against y'all.
