Do any of you remember Carolyn Sue Stephens older sister's name? I know the twins are Helene and Pauline but can't remember the oldest one's name. And, don't know what made me think of her today. Isn't it wierd how someone or something just pops in your mind sometime.
Just to let you who live in the Kentwood area know I will be there for about a week in June, then will be back over there for about a month sometime in August. At that time I will spend the days helping take care of Dad but stay at night at Jim & Lavern's. My friend told me that was good, I wouldn't wear out my welcome either place that way. Will let you know dates when I decide. Wish I had not sold my camp trailer now, I would have gotten it over there somehow and stayed in it...could have some private time then. Oh well, hindsight is always better or so I have been told.

I looked back in our 1950-51 year book and found a Betty Stevens...
I think that was Helene & Pauline's
sister.
Carolyn Sue was in our class at one time.
Thanks EJ, I think you are right. I knew that Carolyn was in our class and the twins in Dave's. I just remembered that the oldest, Betty, played basketball when I started playing with the high school team in 8th grade and kinda looked out for me when we would go to away games. When anyone asked her how tall she was she would tell them 5'12". Said that didn't sound as tall as 6'.
How was your trip to see your family? Can't remember who you said you were going to visit but you were getting ready to leave the day after I came home.

Hilda, they also had an older sister, Delores Stevens... I think there were about 5 girls...

I will definitely be in contact when I come over. Don't know if I will have a chance to get together with any of you in June but should have plenty of time in August. I have a few phone numbers so can go from there. I really want to stay in contact with as many as possible.
