Everyone must be having a very busy summer, mine has been. Picking my sis up at Tallahassee airport tonight...at midnight no less. Thursday we plan on going to Bay St Louis, MS to see Bill (formerly known as Marion) & Sue; Friday on up to Kentwood for a few days so we can spend Father's Day with Dad. Not sure how many days we will be there.
She will leave on July 2 and then the morning of July 3 I leave for a mission trip to Camp Chataqua Hills in Gerry, NY. I am so excited about everything that is going on! Anyone have any info on that area, weather, etc? Sure hope it isn't as hot & humid as south Georgia! If you have info you can send it to my email if you want or post to blog, whatever.
Sometime in July or August I will be going back to Kentwood for a month to help out with Dad. It is getting to be too much for his wife to care for him alone and she is getting on up in years also, 80 this past December. My current plans re this is to go every two or three months and stay a month at a time. That is unless something comes up and I have to stay longer.

Hilda, That part of NY is beautiful and you will only be about 90 miles from Niagara Falls and Canada. We use to have a soccer tourment once a year in Niagara Falls when the girls were younger. Enjoy your trip and the cooler weather.
Thanks Jeff. We have talked about taking a day and going to Niagara Falls. Would love to go on into Canada, just to say I have been there I guess, but will be with a group so don't know if I will have a chance. I am looking forward to the trip.
Hilda, Be sure you take your passport if you go to Canada. We went a few years ago and going in the border patrol stopped us and searched the truck from top to bottom.
Coming out, we got a good tongue lashing, and they threatened not to let us out. So, just be prepared.
Renee' I have that on my list of just in case things to take. Who knows, I just might get the opportunity to go. Did you see my last post to you on FB?
