Okay gang, thought I would share what happened to me Saturday. I was returning home from Amite and stopped to do a little civic duty (picking up litter) at a corner on
University Ave. which is the main road to Southeastern. I had gotten back in my car and got across two lanes to the center turn lane when I felt the most awful pain.
Something was up my sleeve. I shot across two more lanes to the parking lot of Tony's
Tire. I was opening the door and jumping out the car before I even put it in park good.
My shirt was coming off fast. A bee had flown up my arm. I throw my shirt off on the
ground and stomped that bee to death. Fortunately, I had on a bra and camisole or I would have been standing nuked in the parking lot of Tony's Tire.

If it had been as hot as it was when I was over there you would have been "nuked". Would loved to have been a fly on the wall at Tony's Tire.
Hope you are not allergic to bees and glad it didn't cause you to wreck.
What an experience! Where there any people around?
Fortunately, it was a little after 5 pm on Sat. and Tony's was closed.
I'm just glad the traffic was light and I didn't wreck getting across the
road.

I got a call from a Doctor in New Orleans who said he just had to call because his mother had read about the bee incident....he said she just loves our blog.
I'll keep y'all guessing about this one.
Oh, yes, she wanted to know who was
Hilda. Of course when I told him Hilda was the sister of the Carter boys...the red headed Dave that would kick the football barefooted.
Did Dave kick the ball barefooted. I remember the Heap boy doing that......what was his name and who did he marry?
No it wasn't Dave it was Bobby Heap. Have no idea who he married.

OK EJ, will forgive you if you spill the beans on who the doctor in New Orleans is. You do know I have no clue as to where everyone ended up and what their children do.
Bobby Heap married Margie Sullivan, now Williams, that does my hair....
Okay...Dr. Reginald "Reggie" Sanders('64).
He is Charles Sanders('61) younger brother. Not to be confused with Charles ('64) "Sandy" Sanders..Alice Mary's brother. I think I have that right.
