Amanda Passed Away today

Last night I felt the need to call Amanda. She was weak and uncomfortable but was not in a lot of pain. Amanda told me she was surprised, but thankful for all of the concern and support our class has been giving her.

Amanda asked me to have Sandra get in touch with her. I did and Sandra went to see her today. Sandra took her some gifts and said they had a nice visit and prayed together.

Sandra called me a few minutes ago to tell me Amanda's son called to let her know Amanda passed away this afternoon. Arrangements haven't been made yet, but Sandra said the funeral would be at Bethel Church in Kentwood. Amanda still went there when she was able. Her last name is Hutchinson if anyone wants to see when the funeral will be.

I feel like I've lost a very dear friend. I will miss her. I talked to her often after we found out she was sick.Margaret, thank you again for the blog and bringing us together again.

Love all of you

Renee,
I talked with Sandra tonight and she told me you would be letting our other classmates know. I am so glad Sandra went to spend some time with her today.
I will be getting in touch with Johnny.
It is so nice to have this blog. Maybe we can work with Sandra to get her on the blog.

I hope everybody is still checking the blog. FB is great but I still prefer this.

How are you doing? Sandra told me how much fun all of you had playing the "game"

Renee,
I still don't know much about FB.I've
written a few things on it but not much.
We did have a great time playing Mexican Train. I remember many, many
nights playing cards at your house to
the wee hours of the morning.
I've been busy doing an Estate Sale.
CB's mother has a ton of china...
Royal Doulton, Noritake, Lenox, Fostoria, Haviland...many other pieces. I've trying to reresearch the pieces on the Internet.

Renee,
I wish I knew how to edit the blog...
I hit publish to soon and would like to correct "I've" to I'm. Can't figure it out.

I did want to let you know that Kaden
is now in 2nd grade and doing well.
Thanks so much to your sister-in-law,
Beverly, and Regina Lea, who is his teacher. Beverly is just adorable.
Let's talk soon....

I just wrote the longest post to you and somehow lost it. Call me if you want me to walk you through editing a post. I'll be home all day. We are supposed to have flooding rains all day so I'm staying in.

I'm glad Kaden is doing well. And yes, Beverly is a fantastic teacher and a wonderful person. Talk to you later.
