Think I am back to normal now. I feel so much better, didn't realize how sick I was until I recuperated from my surgery. So much more energy and strength.
Yep, being sick can take a lot out of you. Glad you are better, Hilda! Love those Saints! When my brother Jimmy died, they played and sang "Oh When the Saints.....go marchin'in....." as his closing song. How did they choose that name for the franchise?
I can't remember. I will ask my brother Bill, he knows EVERYTHING...or so he says. Just kidding of course but that is an interesting question. I will have to do some research.
I need something more than a contest, EJ. Don't they play that song all the time in the Quarters at the jazz bars? Perhaps that's the connection. Or it could be all the cemeteries in NO where the tombs float during floods and the "Saints" get out and play "marchin' around".

The N.O. newspaper had a "name the team" contest and "The Saints" was
the winner.
I almost had a heart attack watching the game Sunday. The season is only half over...we still a way to go to get to Miami.
