Where were all of you on New Year's Eve?

December 31, 2009 I was looking at the floats as they lined up for the parade the next day!
Jack's favorite float was this one. Everything is made of flowers, seeds or composites of natural stuff.

This "White Coat", as they call their volunteers, greeted me right outside my sister-in-law's house!
We had tickets to sit in the stands for the two hour parade.
This is Jack's sister Kaye and her husband Bob and dog Bentley at their Pasadena home. What a way to spend your 65th birthday!!
I do want to hear from all of you as to what you did on New Year's Eve. Believe me, mine was extraordinary and usually we are home in bed by midnight!

Great pics, Margaret. We went to Merrie and Henry Bennett's in Amite and shared a few drinks with good friends. We were home and in bed by 11:00 a.m. Can't remember the last time C.B. made it to midnight.
Some of the KW folks there were Tommy Jean & Larry; Jon Carl & Lou.
Martha Mixon was also there. I did not recognize her, but remember her well. She was four years older than us and lost her husband about three years ago.

Hi Marg and EJ,

So Glad to see more postings on the blog. Marg, I love all of the pictures you post. I have been so busy with the insurance I haven't had time for anything. The girls were here for Thanksgiving and put up my Christmas tree, otherwise I wouldn't have done anything.

On New Year's Eve Ron and I went out to eat. We came home and I fell asleep at 8:30 watching TV. I was so worn out from work.

Thank all of you that sent Christmas cards. I enjoyed them all.

Renee, thank you for my birthday card! Jack thought it was so neat the way you put both pictures together.........the one of us way back when and the one of us at the recent reunion. We were both impressed with your "Send Out Cards".

Margaret,
Happy Birthday and Happy New Year!
We had a great Christmas and New
Year's eve. We were at the home of some long time friends, with many others.
New Years Day, Kenny and I went
to visit frinds at their new beautiful camp.We are so blessed with so many great friends, and have been to many parties during the holidays. But it is still great to have such great friends from school. Thanks for the blog so we can hear from each other.
Sometimes I don't have much time to write anything after I have read the blog, but I do enjoy it.
Thanks also for sharing all the pictures with us. What a great birthday gift from Jack.
