Homer D. Carter was born October 23, 1919 and passed away at 9:55 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home, Greensburg, LA. Mr. Homer was 90, a native of AL and a resident of Kentwood.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time but will added on Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

Hilda, thanks for calling us Tuesday to let us know about your Dad. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Bettye, Charleen, little Kaden, and
I are leaving in the morning (Fri.)
to pick up Margaret in Houston and then drive to Austin to spend the
weekend with Margaret's daughters Sheri and Traci. I'm so sorry we will not be able to be at the wake or funeral.

Thank you all for your expressions of sympathy. EJ, Roll came to the wake on Friday night and told me that y'all had gone to TX. It was good to see him and for him to come. From the looks of the pictures everyone was having a great time.
Janice, thank you. It was hard to lose him but I am so glad he is no longer in pain. He suffered a lot his last few months.
I have not had internet for quite some time but at my brother Marion's (Bill) and going home tomorrow...so ready! UUsing his internet today. Talk to everyone later.
