Yesterday was our 24th anniversary. Ron and I dated about five years before we got married. The girls were three and four when I met him. Can you see the mischief in the eyes? That isn't a crown above my head, but it should be! Just kidding!!!!!!!!
The baby I'm holding is Karli, my oldest granddaughter. She was two months old. All the black hair fell out and came back blond.
They are all grown now. Time goes so quickly.
Hilda is on her way to Oregon. Haven't heard from anyone else. Wish everybody would come back to the blog.

Renee, what a precious photo! I can see in your smile how happy you were! You really did grow up as a mother to Ron's girls, didn't you?
When I retire, which will be in 3 days on October 22nd, I hope to find some of my old pictures, scan them and post for everyone to see.
I think FB has taken over for our blog but I still prefer this one! I love looking back at the memories!
I have been following Hilda on FB as she travels and I am so excited for her as she starts her new adventure.
I think about Bonnie and Lynn and hope they are both doing well. For a while there, Rosemary was quite the FB person! Even Janice, Amanda's daughter, commented on FB that she was so happy for me on my retirement and that I deserved it. She is so right!! And I am so jealous of EJ, Charl, Bettye, Janice, Sandra and Oveleen when I hear about their "game day"!
Renee, I just love this picture. You look so much like your mother. She was just beautiful and you look just like her. I think I may have told you this before, but she is the reason I never go with earrings. She always had them on. No matter what she was wearing, shorts, bathing suit, bath robe, she was not without those earrings. Does she still wear them all the time?
Renee, you look beautiful and that is a crown! I too prefer this to facebook but FB is an easy way to keep up with my daughters.
Margaret, Welcome to retirement... do you have any plan for all that extra time.
Hi everybody and thank you for all the compliments!!
Margaret, I am so happy for you. I know you will stay so busy doing all the things we never have time to do. I am a little jealous. I wish I could retire, but it is not in the cards right now. I only have to work a few months out of the year, but it get more and more difficult. I really want to get back into the cards in January when things slow down.
EJ, My mother is not doing well at all so she doesn't usually put on earrings anymore. But Karen went by to see her one day and she was sitting there in her pj's with a big pair of them on.
Jeff, I use face-book to keep up with my kids and grand kids, too. But I sure do miss the blog. We used to have so much fun remembering all the silly things we did. And I love to see what everyone is up to and see and hear about their families.
You asked me what kind of a camera we used on the trip. Ron bought a Canon 7D but it is soooo complicated, I think most of the pictures I posted were taken with my little Canon camera. I pushed so many buttons on the 7D I think I had it completely out of focus. When I got home, I set it back to the factorey defaults.
Will try to post more pictures soon. And I'm going to try to get in touch with Lynn and Bonnie, if I can find a few free minutes. You would not believe what my office looks like!
