My husband Jack (on the left holding the sign) and his 8.0 tennis team won State this weekend! Most of the wives were in New Braunfels, TX to cheer them on!
In April, 2011 they go to SURPRISE, AZ. for Nationals!
So cute, Jeff. The "Tomato Man" played enough matches in city to get qualified, but his rotator cuff and eye sight doesn't make him one of the top players. It's a 8.0 team which means the guys' ranking together on a team must equal 8.0. Jack is a 4.0 player and there are several of his teammates who are 4.5 and that means they can only play with a 3.5 player, which we have only two of those. So, no he did not actually play in New Bruanfels. But he is in training to be the best he can just in case he is needed to play in Nationals! This is the first time he actally hasn't played and he says it's much harder "rooting" from the stands than sweating it out on the court.
I'm lovin' retirement but I'm not totally adjusted yet. Too much to get done for the holidays!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Mary Ann and your family.
