Snow Skiing in Crested Butte!

Yes, I skied 4 out of 5 days, blue and green slopes. And I was rewarded at the end of the day with a Bloody Mary!
My son Chris proposed to his girlfriend Lindsey and this is our whole group celebrating! Lindsey is the cute girl lying across our laps and Chris is wearing glasses!

My oldest grand daughter turned 14 on St. Patrick's Day! It was windy that day, thus my cute hair style! The one day we didn't ski.........thank goodness!

Crested Butte was a great mountain! My first time there and my first time to ski in 20 years!
This is the view from our condo at 7:30 am!

Oh Marg,

The pictures are great and itlooks like you had a wonderful time with your beautiful family. I think I would have had an Irish Coffee to warmme up. You get kudoos for skiing. I do a lot of things, but at this age I don't think sking will be one of them.

EJ, Karli was thrilled with the lecture. The doctor called her to the front of the class to read his case study .He told her to ask me about the pheasants and the quail. I didn't realize so many people in Kentwood rememberd that fiasco.

PS, Marg,
when is the wedding?

Renee, the wedding will be in October in Austin. Lindsey is really getting into the planning of it. I am so glad to be the groom's parents for a change.

Share the story of the pheasants and the quail with us.

Bettye and I went quail hunting once.....didn't realize we were suppose to wear camophage clothing!

It really wasn't very cold in Colorado. After skiing down a very steep slope to the base, I could have chug-a-lugged several Bloody Mary's!
