All right these pictures are making me homesick for Kentwood....and I have just been home from there a week. I so enjoyed getting together with the "Train Gang" at Bettye's house. One day when I play with you ladies I am not going to be the biggest loser and get the booby prize. Can hardly wait for the big reunion although I hope to be over there again before then.
I had a wonderful visit with Carolyn Sue while over there this time. That lady is so talented! She was showing Lavern and me some of her creations and they were fantastic.
Love the pictures being posted of past reunions and get togethers. It is fun to try to figure out who some of the people are. I don't think Kathleen and Don have changed at all over the years.

Hilda, is that Carolyn Sue Stevens? didn't she go to school with us?
Yes Margaret to both questions. I don't think I had seen her since before I left Kentwood but I guess you can say young love has reunited us. Her youngest son Mark and my niece Theressa are engaged so through them I got in touch with her. Her sisters are the twins Helene and Pauline.
Hilda, I think Bettye has an adorable kangaroo that she made. Where does she live?
She lives on Troy Spears Rd out from Tangipahoa, one road over from Ovaline. And yes, she did make the kangaroo that Bettye has. I told her that if she could find her pattern I wanted to place an order for one. BTW EJ if you find out the date of the combined reunion will you let me know please. Hope to go to it next year.
Hilda, the combined Kentwood reunion will be the Sat. before Easter,
April 7, 2012, at Gerald's Steak House in Franklinton. It starts at around 10:00 a.m. I've only been once. The man that had been organizing the event is now 89 and has turned it over to Don McDaniel who
graduated 8 years before us.
Our class reunion will be on Sat., April 28th.
Do you plan on going to the combined one EJ? I think I would like to go and will more than likely be in Ktown then. Sometimes I really think I need to find a place to rent over there so I could spend as much time as I want. Although Jim & Lavern always insist I stay with them.
BTW, is the combined for all classes and if not what years does it cover? Was telling Jim about it and he said he never knows anything about them.
All classes. Not sure that I will be going. Last year I went to visit John & family in Washington State.
