These are my two daughters Stephanie and Caroline. This photo was taken at Caroline's wedding that took place in the mountains of New Hampshire about 5 years ago and what made this even more special for me was that Ella Joy and CB were there along with Johnny and his wife Norma Jean. Ella Joy, I'm looking for more photo's that we have somewhere. This is a photo of our grandson Stratton, Carolina's son, that we going to New Hampshire Monday to baby sit for a week while they take a short vacation. We've been in training for this event all month! Caroline is pregnant with our first granddaughter and due in June so Mary Anne tells me we're spending the summer in NH.Do we look like doting grandparents in this photo!!!

Wow what beautiful daughters. And do I see a hint of Ermine in Stephanie? As I said in Renee's post the passage of time is truly amazing. Life goes by so fast doesn't it Grandpa?
Jeff, Caroline's wedding was the summer of 2001. Seven years ago.
That Sept. Stephanie's wedding was the Sat. after 9/11. You must remember you & Mary Anne driving to N.C. from Calif. CB & I, Johnny & Norma Jean were flying out. Since all the airlines were down, we had to cancel. Caroline & Grant were in Seattle..I don't believe they were able to make it. The reason I remember this so well...Kathy (Roll's wife) died that Sat. 9/15/01..
BTW.who said Margaret created a monster. I'm staying up way too late and spending way too much time
reading this blog and I'm loving it!
EJ that was Hilda that said that an I agree. I love it, too. I'm going to start making a list of things I have to do and not get on the computer until everything else is finished. That probably won't work either.
