Back at Nancy's

Hi Everyone, Have been trying to get caught up. I was away from my sister's a couple of weeks and did not have access to the internet. Margaret, the pictures of the slumber party were so good. Looks as though you girls had a blast. Renee I don't have any current pictures of Makaya but I'm trying to get someone to send me some. As soon as I get them I will post them.
The weather has been fabulous in the Portland area for the past week. The first week here was extremely cool, well cold actually. It was so cold a few days on the news they were calling it the month of Juneuary. I think it is in the mid 60's right now as opposed to 92 in Georgia.
I was in Ranier, OR last week visiting Lionell's sister & her husband and could see Mt. St Helens. There is so much snow up there it is unreal. Hope to go to Mt Hood while there is still snow up there, Jeff. Don't plan on hiking it as you and your daughter did but like to go up there. That is one thing that is so neat about this area, you can go about an hour west and you are at the Pacific ocean; an hour east and you are in the mountains. It probably isn't even an hour now. I bet it was exciting for you and Mary to attend opening night of Richert's play. Would love to see you in one sometime Richert.
Hope everyone is enjoying your summer, it will be gone in a flash if it passes as fast as everything else. Take care and I will be in touch later.
Hilda

Hilda, so glad to hear from you. I was wondering if you were having trouble with your back again. Sounds like you are having a great time.

That is a beautiful area. We worked there several years ago.

Have fun.

Do you have a picture of all five generations?

I don't have a 5 generation picture Renee. Unfortunately the kids do not get over to Dad's and he is not able to come to Georgia so don't know that I will get one with Makaya. I think I have one with my great grandson but do not have it with me, it was taken on a regular camera before I got the digital and my scanner doesn't work right now. Always something.

Good to hear from you Hilda. It's very hot here in B.R. so just hearing about snow sounds great.
Have a blessed time and enjoy your family and the beautiful sights.

Hilda, I would love to see you. I enjoy so much hearing from you. If I could slow down a bit, I'd have more time to chat on our blog. My nephew lives in Ephata, WA. I've been there to visit him once and loved it!!
