You sang..I thought..."I.m gonna wash this man right out of my hair". I sang "Getting to know you". Rosemary twirled and Sandra did a Calypso dance. I still remember those "ruffles" on her sleeves. You were wrong. Sandra got Queen, Rosemary got First Runner-Up and you and I stood there looking like "idiots". Can you believe I found this picture? Mother is getting "rid" of a lot of things. Actually, we're throwing away. She says she'd rather throw away now than me (Bonnie) throw away when she is gone. I keep asking her where is she going. Anyway this is the way it all went down. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Some days you just have to get in your car, put the top down, and drive.

I think this was for Miss Kentwood, and Sandra went to Miss
La. and it was held at Broadmoor High School in B.R. My mom took Renee and I to the contest,
and we spent the night with my oldest sister who live near the school.
That sure was a long time ago.

Janice, I remember going to your sister's, but I don't remember the contest. Does anyone know what year that was?
Janice, I also remember going with your mother to pick you up at your sisters in New Mexico. We went to the White Sands National Park and rode dune buggys and to Carlsbad Caverns. It was so much fun!
