Hi,
I guess everybody has been as busy as I am. I miss hearing from everyone and catching up on what is going on. I was on the road working with Ron for about six weeks. We were in eight states. I enjoyed traveling again, but I don't think I could do it full time. I wanted to send a post from every location, but we were so busy and didn't always have access to the internet. Ron is working in Florida now and I'm home alone.
Richert, are you in St. Louis? I would love to see you and your play.
Bonnie, where are you???? Hilda, how is you Dad? Is your back better? EJ, did you get the trees cleaned up? Margaret, I sure do enjoy your pictures. You have a beautiful family. Hi Jeff, what's going on at the Jordan compound? Sandra, how was your trip? Rosemary, are you enjoying retirement? Janice, Bettye, Charlene, what's new. I hope I DIDN'T MISS ANYBODY.

Hi, Renee! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so glad to be able to open up the blog and not see my face the first thing (ha)! Everything is going well in Houston. I'm off to work now, so will write more later.
Renee, good hearing from you again. I have been so busy getting our house ready to sell. Hopefully we will get a sale for it. We bought a home that is more suitable for our growing family. Our daughter is getting married next month. She has been divorced for three years and met a wonderful man. We are so happy for them. Will keep in touch.
Renee, good to hear from you. All is well here. Yes, all the trees
and debris have been removed. The stumps are gone too. That took a little longer because the people that remove the trees do not remove the stumps.
CB and I keep busy with Kaden. We had him from Friday afternoon til this morning when CB took him to school. He is so much fun...we are
certainly enjoying our grandparent
role. I will try to post a picture or two.
Charleen, I'm so happy for your daughter, too. As you know, I went through a divorce in 1981 and it can be a devastating experience. It was for me. But I met Ron, we dated for 5 years, got married in 1986, and celebrated our 22nd anniversary on October 18. Give your daughter my congratulations. There is life after divorce! Send us some pictures of the wedding.
Margaret, is your son in Austin?
My "step" daughter moved back to Austin and works at a law firm there.
EJ, The kids are so lucky to have you and CB. I know you enjoy being grandparents.
I want to post more pictures from the albums, but I'm overloaded with work now.
I was so overwhelmed I called a professional organizer. She is in St. Louis, and said she wants to expand her business to phone and internet coaching. So I volunteered to be her guinea pig.
I'm hoping to get perfectly organized and to free up more time to do the things I want to do. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Chris still lives in Austin and works at the firm of Allensworth and Porter, close to 6th Street downtown. They do construction law. Chris finds out in November about the bar. Is your stepdaughter married?
No, She recently broke up with her boyfriend and moved back to Austin from Washington, DC. I don't know the name of the firm where she works but I'll ask her.

It's good to read the comments and hear what is going on with everyone, seems like we have all been busy. We have finally finished cleaning up from the storm.
