Honey Boy's....Schillings Drugs....Western Auto.....LP&L..Brown Morris Supermarket...Polk Morris Supermarket...All such memorable icons of Kentwood! When we discussed the Elroy last time, there were talks about the girls restroom and girl fights and who loved who wrote all over the huge mirror with lipstick. haha
I took this off FB and Bridges Kentwood, which is a family thing. It did stir up some memories.

Of course, Margaret! I just can't remember where Honey Boy's was located and who owned it.
Don't remember Honey Boy's but think of the other places each time I drive thru Kentwood.
I'm waiting for someone to tell me where Honey Boy's was located. Where are you Richert? I think you would remember.
Okay, I asked Fernie Ray. He told me Honey Boy's was a donut shop oringinally on the street were Smith's Feed Store was........ (also where Connie's gift shop is now) then it moved to Old 55. Honey Boy Carruth was his name and Ray remembered Honey Boy coming to visit with Daddy and they talked and had fun together visiting and telling stories.
