Hello from NC

I been enjoying all the great photos on the blog and was feeling guilty about not contributing lately. I really enjoyed the family photos from Margaret and Sandra and all the great photos from Renee. Mary Anne didn’t do a Xmas letter this year for the first time since I can remember so I’ll blame her for part of it and I can get away with it since she doesn’t read the blog. . Margaret, I hope “Tomato Man” will be posting his crop again this year. I’m setting on the back porch as I type looking for the idea location for some tomato plants.
We had a great xmas this year by staying in NC and going to Stephanie’s and Tom’s place. It was quite easy only driving two hours as opposed to the trip to New Hampshire and the weather was a real plus.
I have been doing very little flying this year and have spent a lot more time woodworking and researching federal furniture in museums up and down the coast. I began two new woodworking projects that I hope to finish this year. .
We just got back from our annual family vacation and had a great time with the grandkids and now need to rest. We got a chance to have dinner with Johnny and Norma Jean in the Bahamas and spent a little time with his family and grandkids there. We will head to New Hampshire in a month to play with the grandkids and watch Caroline’s triathlons.
Anybody heard from Bonnie lately? I’ll try to post more later.

Jeff, good to hear from you. Great pic of you and Mary Anne.

I saw Bonnie about six months ago. Talked with her briefly. She is teaching at Oak Forest Academy where
my great-nephew & niece go to school.

Hi Ella Joy, How is Roll doing? Hope to get to Louisiana soon and see you guys.

Roll seems to be doing great. Plays lots of golf and cards. Not seeing/dating anyone that I'm aware of.

Jeff, thank you for your post! Where were you and Mary Ann when this picture was taken? It looks like a fancy restaurant and I love the view out the window! You both look great. I enlarged it and I could see every detail. Like your shoes!

It is so good to hear from you. Tell Mary Ann hi for me and I loved her necklace! Y'all looked chic for someone our age....Ha!

BTW, I would love to have lunch with you and Johnny in the Bahamas sometimes!

Margaret, you always have an open invitation for dinner. I was going to tell you that I am not as old as you guys and I was the baby in our class, but after looking at your birthday I guess I can‘t say that…..no wonder you look so great. BTW those are my Bahamas shoes and that was a great restaurant that is located in a home that was once an Bahamian governors’ home
