It was quite a ways.......the whole trip took us about four hours. Of course, we stopped at the neatest little country cafe in Belleville for lunch and took our time stopping to look at the flowers. They were the prettiest this year than I've ever seen. Jack says because of the large amount of rain we had.
He's already planted his tomato crop and gives them lots of TLC twice a day! I will post pictures of their progress.
Jeff, that 4 hours was there and back. You can actually see the bluebonnets 30 minutes outside of Houston, but the back roads are where you find them at their best!
