It's Wild Flower time in Texas..........

Isn't this field lovely?
Can you believe the back roads looking like this?
Our famous Texas Bluebonnets!

Renee, where are you? I bet you and Ron are enjoying your travel trailor! Did you ride down to Austin to see our flowers?

These are great photos. I saw these on your facebook and was hoping you would post these on the Blog. How far from Houston was this?

It was quite a ways.......the whole trip took us about four hours. Of course, we stopped at the neatest little country cafe in Belleville for lunch and took our time stopping to look at the flowers. They were the prettiest this year than I've ever seen. Jack says because of the large amount of rain we had.

He's already planted his tomato crop and gives them lots of TLC twice a day! I will post pictures of their progress.

Jeff, that 4 hours was there and back. You can actually see the bluebonnets 30 minutes outside of Houston, but the back roads are where you find them at their best!

That looks like a great road trip and tell Jack I'll be waiting for his tomato photos.
