Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been reading it but just haven't had time to post anything.
Marg, thank you again for starting the blog. I would not have known Lynn was sick if you haven't told us. I talked to her several weeks ago and again today. The first time I talked to her she sounded very weak. Although she was in the hospital three days last week she sounded much stronger today than she did before. She is in very good spirits, and we talked almost an hour, remembering when we walked to the "picture show" every Saturday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock and even who we held hands with. Lynn, if you are tuning in I won't tell!
Marg, I have enjoyed the pictures so much. I still think you should put the video on u Tube.
EJ congratulation on posting the pictures, I knew you could do it!!!
I am driving to Louisiana tomorrow. I dread that 525 mile drive, but I'm looking forward to seeing family. Sorry I won't get to visit with anyone. So little time and so much family.
Richert is in Arrow Rock, MO in a play through August 16th. It is about a four hour drive from Branson. Ron and I were going to try to see him, but Ron has to go to WA on a job. Anyone want to come Missouri? If you look on FB you will see the link and the schedule for the Lyceum (?sp) Theater in Arrow Rock.
Janice I love your place . Sure wish we had some of that good dirt. All we have here are rocks. Where did you go out west? We were in Phoenix for two weeks. Beautiful Country.
Will talk to you later.
Love you all,
Renee
PS: Posting some random pictures I took with my new camera.

Renee, so glad you're back! I like the pictures. The first one, I love Ron's beard! Is this your house? Your camera takes great photos. We seldom have skies like those you've seen in Houston. Thanks for the update on Lynn. I've been planning on calling her but........procrastination!I'm so glad you have kept in touch. I'm going part time in January and oh, the plans I have to organize my life!!!!
Yes, that is our house. Not fancy, but comfortable. Still trying to learn to use the "non idiot camera". Tell Veronica I'll get in touch when I get back.
Great photos. Thanks for the good words. I'm trying to learn more about the computer.
C.B. had surgery a weekend ago today. All is well. Got a good report from the doctors today. He has not been in the hospital but once before and that was 35 years ago. He has been the best patient.
I wanted to go see Lynn but this situation with C.B. occurred so fast..actually the day I returned from Austin which was a Monday afternoon and he had surgery that following Thurs. I plan to get in touch with her soon.
I love Ron's beard. C.B.'s has had one since I met him 30 years ago.
Renee, did I say Veronica? It's actually Ramona. I am always getting everyone's names mixed up!
Renee, we went to New Mexico, and Colorado. We had a great time and
it was so beautiful. It was snow in the mountains of both states, and we took the train from Durgango to Siverton and it was freezing and also snowed while we were there. We came back through San Antonio for a couple of days and it was very hot. It was good to hear from you. Ya'll are really busy, but I know we are blessed to have jobs. Have a great day.
